DVD Cinema

4K DVD / Fiber Cinema

This concept was introduced by Walker Cinema Architects into India early 2003 as a means to revitalise she of the early and poorly designed malls in Mumbai, Calcutta, New Delhi and Bangalore.
The concept ‘shoe-horned’ a cinema-like experience into an existing low floor to floor space. Thus quality screens could then be placed in difficult and low rental spaces in existing Indian malls. The low incliner seats at the front of the auditorium became in high demand, reversing the norm that front seats of a cinema are the worst. By using simple but high-quality projectors linked to internet or high-end DVD player provide a very low-cost cinema experience.
